Elvis Presley looks set to become the solo artist with the most amount of UK No.1 albums.
The late singer's new effort 'The Wonder Of You' is today (October 24) 3,500 combined sales in front at the top of the UK singles chart.
The record - which features reworkings of songs by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - will give Elvis his 13th No.1 album in the UK.
This would mean he would become the solo artist with the most amount of UK No.1 albums, beating Madonna's 12.
At No.2 on the midweek update meanwhile is Michael Bublé's 'Nobody But Me', while Lady Gaga's 'Joanne' enters at No.3.
Leonard Cohen's 'You Want It Darker' debuts at No.4 and Kings of Leon's 'WALLS' drops four places to No.5.
Status Quo’s 'Aquostic' is a new entry at No.7, David Bowie's 'Lazarus' musical soundtrack enters at No.8 and Korn's latest effort 'The Serenity Of Suffering' shoots in at No.9.
