A Visit To Urban Coffee Lounge Queensferry

Those who know me well will know my deep passion for good cake!! I call it a passion because I just love cake, but with good cake has to come amazing coffee. So when I was contacted by Richard Lavender who told me he had recently opened a coffee lounge in Queensferry. I was keen to check the place out.

When I told Radio Deeside's main man Barry Dale about the visit he quickly pulled rank expressing how he had to come along and also check out the cake selection!!

On arriving at Urban Coffee Lounge I quickly noticed how spotlessly clean the place was, everything neatly in its place. The smell of coffee hit me just as I reached the counter, I opted for the cappuccino, Barry, on the other hand, decided on a nice mug of tea with one eye closely on the cakes!!!

There is a choice of seating area's within the coffee lounge as well as a seated area outside, The traditional table and chairs also lounge style chairs with coffee table or there is a bar style seated area
with high stools looking out onto the street outside, We decided to go for the high stools and bar as it was relaxing to sit and watch the world go by.

The coffee lounge I can only describe as being like a cross between Costa & Starbucks  but with a more personal touch. There is a great selection of cakes, snacks, sandwiches, jackets and more, with all fillings being homemade, the menu also include's a cooked breakfast which is highly recommended.

Urban Coffee Lounge offers a delivery serves on orders over £10, all orders must be placed before 11.30am, although the cooked breakfast is collection only. There is free wi-fi available to customers, if you are looking for a place to hold an afternoon meeting this is the ideal location, or if you are looking for the ideal place to grab a bite to eat with friends and have children then you have no worries as the place is child friendly and high chairs are available.

The Lounge also offers Sunday Roast's to eat in or you can have delivery to you door!! Having tried the Sunday roast home delivery service Myself I found it took the stress out of Sunday leaving me time to do others things with my day, My food arrived and I was very impressed at the quality. I'll definitely be using this service again.

If you are looking for outside catering then Urban Coffee Lounge do offer great deals with prices starting from £4.95 a head for a basic buffet, they not only offer a great deal on outside catering but also a marquee can be included at an extra cost. They can also supply a DJ/Disco if required again at an extra cost.
This place has so many hidden extras as a function room is also available to book which holds up to 30 people.

Urban Coffee Lounge is situated in Station Road, Queensferry, Flintshire, There is parking available outside as well as a few car parks close by.

Fantastic place I recommend your check this place out,

Hannah White has unveiled the first single from her upcoming third album 'Whose Side Are You On' - Catch Hannah Live at Chester Music Theatre Saturday 30th April

London-based singer-songwriter Hannah White has unveiled the first single from her upcoming third album 'Whose Side Are You On?' The immediately infectious I’ll Make You Strong is a three-minute illustration of her talents and showcases breezy melodies, hook-laden guitars and a deceptive lyrical ambiguity about stereotypical relationship roles. Hannah’s songs draw from a rich well of life experiences as well as an eclectic range of musical genres. A single mother who’s battled her way to gaining a loyal following of fans around the UK whilst maintaining a wholly independent approach to her career, her music is influenced by country, blues, pop and soul but remains distinctly her own. With a voice that can switch from a sweet Nashville croon to a bluesy holler and production work from Roger Cotton (BB King/Paul McCartney) and Gerry Diver (Christy Moore/Tom Robinson), Hannah’s songs have been heard on the airwaves of BBC London and BBC Introducing. She’s also wowed audie...
