Dead or Alive's flamboyant frontman Pete Burns has died at the age of 57


Pete Burns, the flamboyant frontman from Dead or Alive, has died. He was 57 years old.
Dead or Alive had hits in the 1980's, including 'You Spin Me Round', a song that was heavily sampled by Flo Rida. Burns also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother alongside George Galloway and Rula Lenska.
The statement issued by his management company said:
"All of his family and friends are devastated by the loss of our special star.
"He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul, and he will be missed by all who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories he has left us with."
Burns suffered a fatal heart attack.
