Tattoo Touch Up At Crystal Skull Tattoo Studio

I've always found tattoo studio's very daunting, And not very welcoming places, which is how I come about being stuck with a dodgy home tattoo for so long!! My Sister recommended Crystal Skull Tattoo Studio 32A Station Road, Queensferry where she had recently had her tattoo done.

Walking into the tattoo studio I instantly recognized the beautiful young lady with the bright pink hair who was sat behind the counter as Kate or Pinky as i called her!! Small world I thought as I asked "Ain't you the Lady who's hosting the Tattoo Convention at The Tiv in Buckley" looking surprised she replied "yes". A very small world indeed I had been helping promote Kate's Tattoo Convention via my Radio show on Radio Deeside so it was great to put a face to the name.

We quickly got chatting, I was keen to know what the studio offered, Kate explained how the studio offers Lazer removal, body piercing, as well as tattoo's and aftercare advice. I'd honestly never felt this comfortable in a tattoo studio before in my life! Katie went on to tell me how she has recently opened a Tattoo Studio with a difference. The new tattoo studio is called The Ink Inn which is situated in Saltney at 12B High Street, she went on to explain how the new place was a very relaxing atmosphere, with leather sofa's and relaxing decor, more of a relaxing living room come clinic look than the traditional look.

After a lot of chatting, I asked Kate if anything could be done with my dodgy home tattoo which didn't
look very pretty at all, I'd never recommended anyone having a home tattoo unless done by a professional who know's what they're doing.
As if by magic a lovely young man called Jamie appeared who could fit me in for a touch up on my tattoo there and then!! I'd waited a long time to get this tattoo sorted out it was done in memory of my late Daughter and I had longed to have it looking pretty and pink. Before I knew it I was laying on the tattoo bed and Jamie was working his magic tattoo gun loaded!!

The touch up took around an hour to complete, I was very keen to see the difference and was totally amazed when I finally got to see the end result!! I just couldn't believe how beautiful my tattoo now looked. Jamie had done an amazing job.

The staff at Crystal Skull are a lovely bunch, Very friendly and offer fantastic advice. The place was spotlessly clean with lots of beautiful artwork on the walls.

Hannah White has unveiled the first single from her upcoming third album 'Whose Side Are You On' - Catch Hannah Live at Chester Music Theatre Saturday 30th April

London-based singer-songwriter Hannah White has unveiled the first single from her upcoming third album 'Whose Side Are You On?' The immediately infectious I’ll Make You Strong is a three-minute illustration of her talents and showcases breezy melodies, hook-laden guitars and a deceptive lyrical ambiguity about stereotypical relationship roles. Hannah’s songs draw from a rich well of life experiences as well as an eclectic range of musical genres. A single mother who’s battled her way to gaining a loyal following of fans around the UK whilst maintaining a wholly independent approach to her career, her music is influenced by country, blues, pop and soul but remains distinctly her own. With a voice that can switch from a sweet Nashville croon to a bluesy holler and production work from Roger Cotton (BB King/Paul McCartney) and Gerry Diver (Christy Moore/Tom Robinson), Hannah’s songs have been heard on the airwaves of BBC London and BBC Introducing. She’s also wowed audie...
