LULU is back with a 25th Anniversary show playing the MANCHESTER – Academy on Saturday 26th March  2016!

The incredible Lulu still has plenty to shout about and is back with another fantastic tour. The Grammy-nominated singer will be performing hits from her 50-year career, such as 'To Sir With Love', 'The Man Who Sold The World', 'Relight My Fire', and of course ‘Shout’.

As well as performing songs from some of her musical heroes, such as soul legends, Ray Charles and Otis Redding, she will also be taking us on a musical journey recalling personal anecdotes, songwriting experiences, and other entertaining stories.

Lulu said "2015 has been an exceptional year for me, in a 50-year career. From performing at Glastonbury, releasing my first self-penned album and touring the UK, solo with my fabulous band for the first time in 10 years. I had so much fun, I’ve decided to get back out there to do it again in March & April 2016, and I can’t wait!"

Here is what some of the papers had to say about her recent tour…
Stand back, Florence and Paloma, Lulu has re-lit her fire.  York Press

The thrill is there as Lulu relights the fire…outstanding as her voice soared the auditorium. The Nottingham Post
Her voice has lost none of its sassy, soulful crackle and the original songs are smart, intelligent and seductive. The Times
Still packing a punch…her passion and talent for music is clearly her number one priority…and long may it last.  The Birmingham Post

So when I was contacted by Richard Lavender who told me he had recently opened a coffee lounge in Queensferry. I was keen to check the place out. When I told Radio Deeside's main man Barry Dale about the visit he quickly pulled rank expressing how he had to come along and also check out the cake selection!! On arriving at Urban Coffee Lounge I quickly noticed how spotlessly clean the place was, everything neatly in its place. The smell of coffee hit me just as I reached the counter, I opted for the cappuccino, Barry, on the other hand, decided on a nice mug of tea with one eye closely on the cakes!!! There is a choice of seating area's within the coffee lounge as well as a seated area outside, The traditional table and chairs also lounge style chairs with coffee table or there is a bar style seated area with h...
