Totally TINA has retained their title for 2016’s as the UK's Official number one tribute to the Queen of Rock and Roll, Tina Turner.
As voted for by the Agents Association of Great Britain.

Totally TINA has been voted the 2016’s UK Official number one tribute to Tina Turner meaning that Totally TINA is Simply The Best where they will be shaking their tail feathers at the National Tribute Awards when it takes place on Wednesday 29th June at the Leicester Athena in the heart of the Midlands.

The Awards are given in recognition of the enormous contribution Tribute Acts make to the entertainment industry in both economic and artistic value. The Entertainment Agents' Association (GB) is also especially pleased to continue its involvement with the event which is now being produced by one of the biggest event companies in Great Britain, Champions (UK) PLC.

It is now envisaged to become a biennial event following the extremely successful inaugural Awards two years ago.

This prestigious Gala Event taking place on Wednesday 29th June will follow a similar format to the British Music TV Awards with the award winners being announced and presented with their awards on the night. Throughout the evening, selected winners will be invited to perform to the guests and celebrities who will able to enjoy a lavish three-course meal before dancing the night away at what will be one of the best gala evenings in the UK music industry calendar.

Liverpool-born based singer Justine Riddoch has been treading the boards on the north-west circuit for over 26 years, but since her appearance in 2002 on Stars In their Eyes as Anastacia. Things have taken a different turn.

But it was in 2002 that her career would change direction. After winning ITV's “Stars in their Eyes” as Anastacia, her tribute show “Justine is Anastacia” was in great demand and she spent the next 6 years performing as her around the world, enlisting a live band to create more of a show feel. When Anastacia stopped releasing albums and her popularity waned, it was time to change direction again.

Back in 2011, Justine decided to create with her fabulous cast a Tina Turner concert-style tribute show to honour the Queen of rock and soul. Rather than being a biography, this show focuses on Tina's live concert career, replicating scenes from various tours over the last 50 years with custom twists and turns created by Justine and her cast.

Having been told they earlier this month, that they have won the ‘National Tribute Music Awards 2016’, Justine looks back on the path her and her guys who have been on for the last eight years.

"It's been a hard struggle sometimes, we didn't want to do this on a small scale, " she told us. "You can't imagine doing it any less when it's Tina Turner if you get it wrong when your impersonating a legend, there are too many fans out there that will let you know unceremoniously and viciously".
"Right from the beginning we knew we wanted it to look as close as possible to a Tina concert.
But with limited budgets and cast having existing commitments it's been a hard but joyous job".
”We've been through ups and downs, arguments and tears and many many sequins. But can truly say that the band, dancers and myself truly look on each other as family as well as colleagues".

With our new collaboration with Mark Forster from Worldwide Events productions, we may be able to take this show to dizzying heights we could only have dreamed of.”

2016 has seen Totally Tina touring the UK in their own theatre tour in a full production with a live band, dancers and Their leading lady Justine which continues throughout the year. In between shows, Totally Tina also performs abroad on P&O and Thompson's 5* brand Sensatori.

"This award means the world to us it's just so nice to have some recognition for all the hours spent. We still hope that the show will grow and grow and leave a lasting memory with all those who come to see us.”.

Hannah White has unveiled the first single from her upcoming third album 'Whose Side Are You On' - Catch Hannah Live at Chester Music Theatre Saturday 30th April

London-based singer-songwriter Hannah White has unveiled the first single from her upcoming third album 'Whose Side Are You On?' The immediately infectious I’ll Make You Strong is a three-minute illustration of her talents and showcases breezy melodies, hook-laden guitars and a deceptive lyrical ambiguity about stereotypical relationship roles. Hannah’s songs draw from a rich well of life experiences as well as an eclectic range of musical genres. A single mother who’s battled her way to gaining a loyal following of fans around the UK whilst maintaining a wholly independent approach to her career, her music is influenced by country, blues, pop and soul but remains distinctly her own. With a voice that can switch from a sweet Nashville croon to a bluesy holler and production work from Roger Cotton (BB King/Paul McCartney) and Gerry Diver (Christy Moore/Tom Robinson), Hannah’s songs have been heard on the airwaves of BBC London and BBC Introducing. She’s also wowed audie...
