A TRIBUTE to (Lemmy & Bowie) play Chepstow Castle on Monday 29th August as part of Castell Roc!

"A Tribute 2", is a special chance to applaud, revel and commemorate two of the UK's most significant, ground-breaking and enduring Artistes of our time. An opportunity to experience two musical icons, all neatly wrapped up in one iconic Welsh Castle.

Two very different people that share a remarkably similar story!

Born within a year of each other just after the Second World War, Bowie and Lemmy started their musical careers in the 1960s, recording and performing their own material over five decades. Uniquely known by their stage names of simply 'Bowie' and 'Lemmy' and their own brand of highly distinctive music.Opting not to follow more mainstream acts, they were totally innovative in the creation of their chosen genre of music, before both sadly succumbing to terminal illness within a fortnight of each other.

The night starts with MOTORHEADACHE, a top class and authentic tribute to the late, great Lemmy and his band, Motörhead.

As the dust settles and the sun goes down over the Castle ramparts, the evening moves on to pay homage to the incredible 'starman'. Performed by the highly acclaimed BOWIE EXPERIENCE enjoy all the big hits, showmanship and an alarmingly accurate trip down memory lane as the Bowie Experience relives the various eras and personas of David Bowie.

An opportunity to see commemorate two musical legends inside a stunning Welsh Castle is an evening not to be missed. For every ticket purchased the Festival will donate £1 to 'Tenovus Cancer Care, Wales'.

The Grammy-nominated singer will be performing hits from her 50 year career, such as 'To Sir With Love', 'The Man Who Sold The World', 'Relight My Fire', and of course ‘Shout’.   As well as performing songs from some of her musical heroes, such as soul legends, Ray Charles and Otis Redding, she will also be taking us on a musical journey recalling personal anecdotes, song writing experiences, and other entertaining stories.  2015 has been an exceptional year for me, in a 50-year career. From performing at Glastonbury, releasing my first self-penned album and touring the UK, solo with my fabulous band for the first time in 10 years. I had so much fun, I’ve decided to get back out there to do it again in March & April 2016, and I can’t wait! Here is what som...
