A TRIBUTE to (Lemmy & Bowie) play Chepstow Castle on Monday 29th August as part of Castell Roc!

"A Tribute 2", is a special chance to applaud, revel and commemorate two of the UK's most significant, ground-breaking and enduring Artistes of our time. An opportunity to experience two musical icons, all neatly wrapped up in one iconic Welsh Castle.

Two very different people that share a remarkably similar story!

Born within a year of each other just after the Second World War, Bowie and Lemmy started their musical careers in the 1960s, recording and performing their own material over five decades. Uniquely known by their stage names of simply 'Bowie' and 'Lemmy' and their own brand of highly distinctive music.Opting not to follow more mainstream acts, they were totally innovative in the creation of their chosen genre of music, before both sadly succumbing to terminal illness within a fortnight of each other.

The night starts with MOTORHEADACHE, a top class and authentic tribute to the late, great Lemmy and his band, Motörhead.

As the dust settles and the sun goes down over the Castle ramparts, the evening moves on to pay homage to the incredible 'starman'. Performed by the highly acclaimed BOWIE EXPERIENCE enjoy all the big hits, showmanship and an alarmingly accurate trip down memory lane as the Bowie Experience relives the various eras and personas of David Bowie.

An opportunity to see commemorate two musical legends inside a stunning Welsh Castle is an evening not to be missed. For every ticket purchased the Festival will donate £1 to 'Tenovus Cancer Care, Wales'.

A Visit To Urban Coffee Lounge Queensferry

Those who know me well will know my deep passion for good cake!! I call it a passion because I just love cake, but with good cake has to come amazing coffee. So when I was contacted by Richard Lavender who told me he had recently opened a coffee lounge in Queensferry. I was keen to check the place out. When I told Radio Deeside's main man Barry Dale about the visit he quickly pulled rank expressing how he had to come along and also check out the cake selection!! On arriving at Urban Coffee Lounge I quickly noticed how spotlessly clean the place was, everything neatly in its place. The smell of coffee hit me just as I reached the counter, I opted for the cappuccino, Barry, on the other hand, decided on a nice mug of tea with one eye closely on the cakes!!! There is a choice of seating area's within the coffee lounge as well as a seated area outside, The traditional table and chairs also lounge style chairs with coffee table or there is a bar style seated area with h...
