Britain’s Got Talent returns this Saturday for a fun-filled 11th series

The nation’s favourite talent show, Britain’s Got Talent, returns 15/4/17 for a fun-filled 11th series packed with action and variety.

With laughter, tears and bromances along the way the show’s four formidable judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - will be back taking their seat on the judging panel in the search for the most exciting talent around.

They will be joined by the nation’s favourite TV duo Ant and Dec – along with their OBEs - who will be on hand to congratulate and commiserate the acts whilst guiding the audiences through the audition stages before taking on hosting duties for the exciting week of live semi-finals and, of course, the grand finale.

Over the past few months the dream team have travelled the length and breadth of the country looking for that winning act who can not only capture the heart and imagination of the Great British public but who is also fit to perform for a Royal. After a magical series in 2016, this year’s viewers will be exhilarated and amused in equal measure as a host of variety acts take to the stage.

Acts you can expect to see this series include; a love guru, a ten-foot robot and a pair of Simon Cowells. There are also three record-breaking acts, BGT’s youngest ever magician and a dance crew like you’ve never seen before... All four judges and Ant & Dec will also have the opportunity to give the act they think has that extra special something an automatic place in the live semi-finals with the use of the special Golden Buzzer. As each judge has their own particular tastes in what makes great entertainment, the Golden Buzzers are certain to throw up interesting choices and perhaps even disagreements amongst the panel!

With thousands of people applying, viewers can expect to be amazed by the remarkable line-up of acts competing to be crowned this year’s winner and in doing so, secure an incredible £250,000 and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance 2017.

The past decade has seen BGT deliver fantastic winners from Paul Potts to Diversity; Ashleigh & Pudsey to Lance Corporal Richard Jones. And it’s not only the winners who have produced some of our most memorable TV moments; there was superstar singer Susan Boyle, comedian Jack Carroll, magician Darcy Oake and of course, the dog that hypnotised Simon - to name just a few. This year’s series is sure to provide even more must-see moments.

A Visit To Urban Coffee Lounge Queensferry

Those who know me well will know my deep passion for good cake!! I call it a passion because I just love cake, but with good cake has to come amazing coffee. So when I was contacted by Richard Lavender who told me he had recently opened a coffee lounge in Queensferry. I was keen to check the place out. When I told Radio Deeside's main man Barry Dale about the visit he quickly pulled rank expressing how he had to come along and also check out the cake selection!! On arriving at Urban Coffee Lounge I quickly noticed how spotlessly clean the place was, everything neatly in its place. The smell of coffee hit me just as I reached the counter, I opted for the cappuccino, Barry, on the other hand, decided on a nice mug of tea with one eye closely on the cakes!!! There is a choice of seating area's within the coffee lounge as well as a seated area outside, The traditional table and chairs also lounge style chairs with coffee table or there is a bar style seated area with h...
