Pink Floydian Comes To North Wales Saturday 18th March 2017

Pink Floydian deliver an evening of Floyd that fans of the legendary band will not want to miss.

Playing more than two hours of classic material from an era spanning over 40 years, the eight-piece outfit deliver authentic reproductions of all the classic Floyd tracks that have seen them praised constantly by fans of the original band.

From the haunting refrains of Great Gig in the Sky, to the lush landscapes of Shine on you Crazy Diamond and Comfortably Numb, Pink Floydian guide you on a musical journey through the career of the greatest progressive rock band of all time. The show includes a full performance of one of the most iconic albums of all time – Dark Side of the Moon. For 2017 along with tracks from all the classic albums, the band will also be performing the Animals album in full celebrating 40 years since its release.

The band hail from the Manchester, Oldham, Sale and Wigan area but play throughout the UK and are Europe and are well known for their exceptionally accurate representations of some of the most complex rock songs ever written. Coupled with spectacular lighting and the iconic circular projection screen this is a show you will not want to miss!

A Visit To Urban Coffee Lounge Queensferry

Those who know me well will know my deep passion for good cake!! I call it a passion because I just love cake, but with good cake has to come amazing coffee. So when I was contacted by Richard Lavender who told me he had recently opened a coffee lounge in Queensferry. I was keen to check the place out. When I told Radio Deeside's main man Barry Dale about the visit he quickly pulled rank expressing how he had to come along and also check out the cake selection!! On arriving at Urban Coffee Lounge I quickly noticed how spotlessly clean the place was, everything neatly in its place. The smell of coffee hit me just as I reached the counter, I opted for the cappuccino, Barry, on the other hand, decided on a nice mug of tea with one eye closely on the cakes!!! Elvis set to beat Lady Gaga to UK No.1 album

Elvis Presley looks set to become the solo artist with the most amount of UK No.1 albums. The late singer's new effort 'The Wonder Of You' is today (October 24) 3,500 combined sales in front at the top of the UK singles chart. The record - which features reworkings of songs by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - will give Elvis his 13th No.1 album in the UK. This would mean he would become the solo artist with the most amount of UK No.1 albums, beating Madonna's 12. At No.2 on the midweek update meanwhile is Michael Bublé's 'Nobody But Me', while Lady Gaga's 'Joanne' enters at No.3.
