HAPPY DAGGERS ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE ‘NEED YOUR LOVE’


Infectious new track coincides with British Summertime
Festival performance in Hyde Park

As part of a busy summer festival schedule that sees them wowing crowds at events alongside Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Corine Bailey Rae & Miike Snow, Leeds-based indie-soul band Happy Daggers have unveiled their new single Need Your Love. The three-minute track is an
infectious slice of slinky pop showcasing powerhouse soul vocals, pounding grooves & a singalong chorus.

The boys have spent the last few years gaining a reputation as one of the best new live bands in the UK. Their energetic mix of indie dynamics, pop songwriting & disco crowdpleasers has won over new fans at Reading & Leeds, Live at Leeds & Bingley Music Live festivals & led to a string of sold-out shows in Leeds, Manchester & London. Radio & TV tastemakers have been quick to spot their talents, with repeat airplay on BBC Introducing & exposure on ITV, SubTV & Channel 4. After spending the first half of 2016 honing new material in the studio, the band has emerged with a sleek upgrade on their early releases tailor-made for festival singalongs & Friday night dancefloors.
