HAPPY DAGGERS ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE ‘NEED YOUR LOVE’


Infectious new track coincides with British Summertime
Festival performance in Hyde Park

As part of a busy summer festival schedule that sees them wowing crowds at events alongside Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Corine Bailey Rae & Miike Snow, Leeds-based indie-soul band Happy Daggers have unveiled their new single Need Your Love. The three-minute track is an
infectious slice of slinky pop showcasing powerhouse soul vocals, pounding grooves & a singalong chorus.

The boys have spent the last few years gaining a reputation as one of the best new live bands in the UK. Their energetic mix of indie dynamics, pop songwriting & disco crowdpleasers has won over new fans at Reading & Leeds, Live at Leeds & Bingley Music Live festivals & led to a string of sold-out shows in Leeds, Manchester & London. Radio & TV tastemakers have been quick to spot their talents, with repeat airplay on BBC Introducing & exposure on ITV, SubTV & Channel 4. After spending the first half of 2016 honing new material in the studio, the band has emerged with a sleek upgrade on their early releases tailor-made for festival singalongs & Friday night dancefloors.

A Visit To Urban Coffee Lounge Queensferry

Those who know me well will know my deep passion for good cake!! I call it a passion because I just love cake, but with good cake has to come amazing coffee. So when I was contacted by Richard Lavender who told me he had recently opened a coffee lounge in Queensferry. I was keen to check the place out. When I told Radio Deeside's main man Barry Dale about the visit he quickly pulled rank expressing how he had to come along and also check out the cake selection!! On arriving at Urban Coffee Lounge I quickly noticed how spotlessly clean the place was, everything neatly in its place. James Arthur still not letting go of UK No.1 single

James Arthur  is still in pole position at the top of the UK singles chart. The singer's track 'Say You Won't Let Go' is today (October 17) No.1 on the midweek update. He if he is still at the top come Friday (October 21),  Arthur  will have logged his fourth week at No.1. This would give the former X Factor man his longest stint at No.1. At No.2 on the midweek update is Chainsmokers' 'Closer', while The Weeknd's 'Starboy' follows at No.3. Hailee Steinfeld is up 13 places to No.4 with 'Starving' and 'My Way' by Calvin Harris completes the top five.
