BUZZCOCKS , one of the most important and influential bands ever, celebrate their 40th Anniversary in 2016. Pete Shelley (vocals/guitars), Steve Diggle (vocals/guitars), Chris Remington (bass) and Danny Farrant (drums) will play the first dates of this momentous tour in Australia & New Zealand in March and will continue to mark this astonishing anniversary year by touring the UK, Europe and the Americas. Pete Shelley and Howard Devoto formed Buzzcocks in Bolton in February 1976. The band, completed by the addition of Steve Diggle and John Maher, opened for the Sex Pistols in Manchester on July 20th, a follow up to the now (in)famous Lesser Free Trade Hall gig which Devoto and Shelley had organised the month before. Mark and Anne-Marie Edwards parents of an 11-year-old girl who died of cancer are pleading for the return of sentimental photographs and video footage stolen during a break-in. Mark and Anne-Marie  have been left devastated after burglars stole a camera, Camcorder and laptop containing images of their daughter, Caitlyn who passed away five years ago after a battle with leukaemia. Burglars struck at the property in Sandy Lane, Garden City sometime between the 7th & 11th August Police are now investigating and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
